It is indeed! The first weekend of December is always a busy time for us as we hare around preparing for Christmas and putting up decorations. Isaac’s birthday is also early in the month, so it’s twice the fun. (Did I say ‘fun’? I meant ‘stress’ …)

Yes – we have a January birthday and the challenge is to make sure nobody forgets about it! On the plus side, he gets double the pressies as they are all so cheap. We start think about Christmas first weekend of December. Can’t face it before then. While the shopping tends to get a bit fraught, on the whole I love it – feels proper festive. Happy birthday to your little man. Got to dash now – mince pie time….

I know how that feels! Kara’s birthday is mid-year but Isaac is 3 weeks before Christmas and Toby 3 weeks after. It presents challenges keeping birthdays anmd Christmas separate and equal, but on the upside it means we’re always celebrating or looking forward to something for 6-7 weeks during the most miserable time of the year weather-wise. 🙂
